An Introduction

Born on the 21st of September 1990, the first of two children born to Richard and Gladys D'Souza, Gideon Israel lived life to its fullest.

As a child he was incorrigibly energetic, and grew to love new experiences, testing the limits of his intelligence, and expanding his horizons every step he took.

He was a master of music and played the violin, the acoustic and electric guitar, the keyboard, and the ukulele with a steadiness and confidence that undermined his years.

He loved learning languages, loved travelling, and was an active cyclist, swimmer, and aspiring triathlete.

He was an acknowledged genius in computers, always up-to-date with the latest technological trends, with an exclusive interest in robotics.

He was always learning something new like Pure Mathematics, Trigonometry, and Calculus, always digging into the deep reserves of knowledge that were flourishing inside his resourceful mind.

He met and fell in love with Daniella Steinert in Iceland in 2015.

Gideon left to settle down in Germany on the 15th of August, 2017.

The computer geek, robot maker, musician, gymnast, curious traveller – a fighter against all odds, - Gideon Israel passed on before his 29th birthday on the 21st of September 2019.

He left behind his parents, his wife, and his sister, all who loved and grieve him dearly.

He shall always be fondly remembered for his courageous and fighting spirit in the face of an early death, always striving to make the best of everything, always living life king-size.
